Places of interest to visit :
Pasar Candikuning ‣ Candi Kuning is the most crowded place in the mountainous Bedugul area and is located 1,200 meters above sea level right on the edge of Lake Bratan which is cool and often foggy. Located on the main road to the north coast of Bali, and located just a little south of Lake Bratan, Pasar Candi Kuning is a bustling local vegetable and fruit market. Orchids and other forest plants thrive at the height of this area, various kinds of fruits and vegetables are beautifully arranged attracting both tourists and people who come from all over Bali.
Lake Beratan ‣ Lake Bratan, in the quite cold area of Bedugul has Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. It is one of the most photographed temples in Bali. Like Taman Ayun Temple, this temple was built by King of Mengwi. The combination of pagoda (meru) buildings with terraced roofs and very photogenic mountains and lakes is one reason this place is very popular.
Gitgit Waterfall ‣ A popular stop on the route that connects Singaraja and Denpasar, Gigit Waterfall is considered one of the most beautiful in Bali. The waterfall is easy to reach from the main road even though it has to go far enough, the waterfall has a height of approximately 40 meters. Water falls into a beautiful pond where visitors can swim. Actually there are three waterfalls in the area, others are smaller twin waterfalls. All are given signs from the road and can be reached by a short climb.
Lovina Beach ‣ Kuta busy with tourists both local and foreign tourists, Lovina Beach, located on the north side of the island is very calm and relaxed. The resorts scattered along the 12 kilometer coastline tend to serve families and couples, and everything from the waves on the coast to nightlife tends to be quieter than the atmosphere in southern Bali.
