This trip is for you who already stay in Yogyakarta or Semarang or have arrived the previous day in Yogyakarta or Semarang. Early morning hotel pick up at around 03.00 hrs. The journey start by visiting Borobudur Buddhist temple in Magelang to enjoy beautiful sunrise. The 8th century Buddhist relic of Borobudur is best seen at dawn. Find yourself a quiet spot to sit and wait for the sun to rise over the horizon from the top of the stupas.
After the sunrise, the trip continues to Cangkringan Village to do Lava Tour using a 4 wheel-drive vehicle to see the remaining eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010. Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer back to hotel.

Borobudur temple is a UNESCO world heritage site. The temple was built in mandala pattern reflecting the universe in the Buddhist beliefs. Located in Magelang, the temple is about one and a half hour drive from the center of City of Yogyakarta.
Cangkringan Village ‣ Kaliadem in the area of Cangkringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This place is an area of 25 hectares of pine forest with an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level, on the southern slope of Mount Merapi. This area has many beauty and uniqueness of nature. The existence of Mount Merapi with volcanic phenomena, mountain morphology and its valley, natural forest with a diversity of flora and fauna and unique socio-cultural conditions, plus a very bright morning atmosphere at that time that gives natural freshness.
