Padang Padang Beach or the locals call it Pantai Labuan Sait is one of Bali’s famous surf spots. It is located on the north-western coast of Bukit Peninsula. It is also not so far from Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue.
The beach is a regular spot for international surfing events, the Rip Curl Cup because the surf has a steady set of barrels during good weater. The beach is accessible by stairs through a hollow rock entrance. The water of this beach is also a favorit place for bathing and swimming as the water is clear and the becah is clean.
On the beach there are stalls selling colourful sarongs and plaited friendship bracelets, locals renting out a range of different surfboards including paddleboards, and warungs selling fresh coconuts, cold drinks and freshly-caught seafood. Padang Padang Beach is located at Jalan Labuan Sait at Pecatu Village. It is under 30 minute drive from the international airport and a quick 10-minute drive from the neighbouring area of Uluwatu. it is around 45 minute drive from Kuta area.
