By using Bali Tour Desk’s website, https://balitourdesk.com and by purchasing our products or services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

These general Terms and Conditions are exclusively applicable between Bali Tour Desk and its website https://balitourdesk.com, hereinafter named “the Operator” and anyone using the services offered on this website by Bali Tour Desk, hereinafter named “the Customer”.

Bali Tour Desk is a travel service provider and wholesaler with head office in North Denpasar, Indonesia. It offers authentic and responsible travel services all around Indonesia, including Bali, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Sulawesi, Lombok, Flores, Sumbawa, Sumba and Sulawesi.

The Operator proposes, through https://balitourdesk.com, hereinafter named “the Website”, the company offering tailor-made tours and online sales of travel services in Indonesia. The Customer can book travel services, individual travel services or tailor-made tours directly through the Website. Bali Tour Desk acts as a travel agent by providing accommodations, tickets for domestic and international flights within Indonesia and departing from Indonesia to other countries, buses, cruises and other travel services from partners and other businesses, hereinafter named “third parties”.

Booking Process

Bali Tour Desk offers 2 ways to book the Customer’s trip to Indonesia via its website, https://balitourdesk.com :

Select your desired product or service on the website, by contacting us. Go to the site’s menu Contact Us, fill in all the details and let us know any specific information which will help us create your dream travel program in Indonesia. Upon receiving your request, our friendly dedicated and client-oriented reservation team will give you quote according to your needs as soon as possible.

Ask for your tailored-made holidays in Indonesia. Go to the site’s menu Contact Us and fill in all the details requested in the form. Let our team of “travel Indonesia” expert create your dream tailor-made tour in Indonesia. We will send you the quote and proposal as soon as possible.

Booking travel program no later than 2 days before the day of arrival (in low season) and a minimum of 3 weeks in advance during high tourist season in particular, it is acceptable but it depends on service availability, such as hotel room, flight ticket, etc.

Hotel and Travel Packages

Prices for hotels and travel packages are calculated on net prices unless otherwise specified, including 10% of government tax and 11% for services. The prices for travel packages including hotels are calculated on the basis of double room (one room for two persons). Additional costs, named “Single Supplement” are to be expected for the Customer who wants to stay alone in another room. The triple occupancy is based on one double room with one extra bed. Maximum 2 children are allowed in their parents room, with condition for child with extra bed charged at 75% and without extra bed by 50% charge of the adult price.

Payment Process

A deposit of 25 % of the total price, given in the confirmation, is required. The deposit can be made in US dollar, Euro or Indonesian Rupiah. Please note the reference of the invoice at the time of payment. The remaining balance of the 100% of the total price shall be paid 45 days prior to arrival date. The total price of the trip shall be paid 45 days prior to arrival.

If the Customer does not pay the deposit in time, the Operator is entitled to terminate the contract without notice or to refuse carrying out the travel services. If documents are required, the Customer will receive these after the full price is paid.

For the payment methods, the Operator accepts payments either via bank transfer or PayPal (or credit card through PayPal). The bank transfer is the only method accepted for tour operators, travel agencies or institution doing business agreement with Bali Tour Desk.

Security of Payment Process

Except through bank transfer, the payment is fully processed on PayPal secured page. During the payment process, the Customer will never share its credit card information with the Operator.

Credit Card

If the Customer does not want to use a PayPal account for the payment, he or she has the possibility to fill its credit card information on PayPal payment page without creating a PayPal account. In this way, the Operator accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other bank cards.


The invoices are priced in USD but the Operator accepts payments in all major currencies. During the payment process, PayPal will automatically convert the price into USD. The Customer does not need to open a USD bank account.

As the exchange rate can vary every minute, the price will be adjusted depending on the USD rate at the time of booking.


A deposit corresponding to 25% of the total price must be paid at the time of booking and the remaining 75% must be balanced 2 months (60 days) before the arrival date by the Customer. Deposits are not refundable in the case of cancellation from the Customer without notice and/ or 45 days and less prior to arrival date. The deposit made by the Customer acts as a contract between the Customer and the Operator.

Change and Cancellation

Any travel change and cancellation must be notified to the Operator by email. Phone call will not be accepted. The changes and/ or cancellation will be acknowledged by the Operator with a confirmation email. Authoritative is the day of receipt of the cancellation e-mail.

Change Made by the Customer

Change of the tour date, time, route after confirmation may cause supplement costs, depending on the type of booking as well as the period and condition of the third parties such as hotel, airline, cruise company. The Operator strongly recommends personal and travel insurance which covers accidents, injury or loss of personal property.

Cancellation Made by the Customer

Cancellation can be made at any time prior to arrival or in case of hotel bookings prior to the check-in. The refund of the paid amount will vary according to the time of cancellation :

Cancellation made 46 days and more prior to arrival date, refund 100% of the paid amount,
Cancellation made between 45 and 30 days prior to arrival date, refund 60% of the paid amount,
Cancellation made between 29 and 21 days prior to arrival date, refund 50% of the paid amount,
Cancellation made between 20 days and less prior to arrival date, there is no refund.

Change or Cancellation Made by the Operator

If, for any reason outside control of the Operator, tailor-made tours, travel packages or travel services cannot be operated, especially in case of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political situation, epidemics and others, the Operator is entitled to carry out changes in services referring to decision of the Indonesian government. The Operator shall immediately inform the Customer.

If changes are not possible or unreasonable, the Operator or the Customer are entitled to cancellation. The Customer will receive a full refund of the price.

Customer’s Right of Claim

The Customer can claim compensation from the Operator in case of insufficient services within a period of one month after the end date of services provided by the Operator to the Customer. After this period, the Customer’s right of claim shall be extinguished. If any mistake has been made by the Operator, the company will consider compensation or refund depending on the situation.

No Show Clause

If, for any circumstances, the Customer does not show up in person during a part or the entire length of the scheduled stay, he will not be refund of the amount paid.


Please note that travel insurance is not included in the price. The Customer should get a travel insurance for his or her peace of mind from an insurance broker or insurance company. The Operator recommends personal and travel insurance which cover accidents, injury or loss of personal property. The Operator is not liable for any damages or injuries suffered as a consequence of anything, howsoever caused in connection with services carried out by third parties, arising from the use of accommodation, transportation or other services, or for labour strike, political unrest, weather conditions or natural disasters which are beyond the Operator’s control.

Please be aware that, by booking travel services, the Customer confirms that his or her state of health complies with the travel requirements and that he does not suffer from any cardiac diseases and/ or circulatory disorders. If any diseases are known by the Customer, he or she shall consult a physician and get permission to participate. The tours operated can be very strenuous and therefore cause danger to persons suffering from cardiac or circulatory disorders. A health check with the Customer’s doctor is a necessity before travelling to Indonesia, especially for wildlife observatory, long trekking in the jungle and all physical activities.

Travel Documentation

It is the Customer’s personal responsibility to ensure that he has valid travel documentation which meets the requirements of immigration and other authorities in Indonesia. The Customer is responsible for obtaining and presenting all required visas, travel and health documents and for complying with all laws, regulations, orders, demands and travel requirements of Indonesia.

The customer will be responsible to pay any fine or charge assessed by the government concerned. The Customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary information on regulations, laws and travel requirements. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of breach of these requirements shall be paid by or charged to the Customer.

Governing Law

By using the website and by purchasing one or some of our services, the Customer agrees that the Indonesian law, without reference to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these General Terms and Conditions and any dispute of any sort that might arise between the Customer and the Operator.

We will endeavor to ensure that all information on this website is accurate, complete, and up-to-date however, in the event that any provision of information is not accurate and up-to-date, it is beyond our control and we are not liable for any loss, injuries or damage because of your booking and participation in any tour.
